Startup and grow rich?

Being an entrepreneur. Sounds scary?

Many people equate being an entrepreneur with jumping off a cliff.

  • “Nine out of ten startups fail within a couple of years.”
  • “It’s too much work. Much easier to get a job.”
  • “How much are you going to make with a small business anyway”
  • Perhaps it isn’t in your plans. Or you’d like to, but it seems too risky or expensive. Or you’re already along the way.

If you are interested, three blog posts to think about. I’ll be blogging with reference to these after a few days, but you might find these stimulating your thinking. And ideas.

The Entrepreneurial Mind on Here Comes the Entrepreneurial Generation. Highlights - Survival rates are over 50%; and small businesses provide employment to over 50% of the workforce.

Entrepreneur’s Journey on How To Make Money Online Using Niche Content Websites. Yaro’s blog makes for interesting reading, and his post here profiles an opportunity almost anyone can try.

Mark Cuban’s post on You only have to be right once. One success wipes out all past failures.

Put these together, for a recipe for financial success.

Yaro’s post (and other posts, as well as other blogs which talk about online businesses) provides a low risk, low cost, part time option to get your bread and butter. While it may take time, the low cost means that even a few failures won’t matter - or that these can be reworked to start succeeding.

Quite apart from the education received through this, a steady state added income could either supplement an employment based wealth building, or be the cushion for a full time entrepreneurial venture.

Plus, the experience helps push up the success rate - the single largest contributor to entrepreneurial failure is lack of experience and knowledge of running a business.

And one large hit breaks the bank!

More on this, in days to come.
