Saving money is …… Sexy??

It’s amazing how people come up with utter disconnects, when it comes to money and finance. A famous one is Marie Antoinette’s “If they can’t eat bread, let them have cake”.

Thanks to Madame X, I got to this opinion on Bloomberg.

Bush’s entire budgetary case rests on the assumption that no one will notice or change the subject to mention that his proposed spending cuts are dwarfed by the deficit-exploding tax reductions that he is seeking for high-income Americans.

Judging from the volume of press comment on the budget, looks like many have noticed!

Back to disconnects now - it can be fun too. Like this deadly tongue-in-cheek piece called Saving money isn’t sexy - until now. Thanks, Jeff - this ought to take the cake (and the cheesecake)!

Too bad people don’t understand economics and only beielve that economics predictions must be static instead of dynamic. For people that understand economics, other than the failed variety dreamed up by Keynes, knows that by lowering taxes actually increases tax revenue.

Just look at what John Kennedy did. And imagine that horrible tax cuts that Bush implemented raised tax revenues well above what the naysayers said. Too bad the media is too biased to report the truth.
