Pardon … but a slip is showing!

Thanks to Pfblogs.org, spotted a neat bit of trivia on Broke’N Boston; an interesting play on dates and numbers.

But I don’t agree with the conclusion “That won’t ever happen again.” Since that assumes that mm/dd/yy is the only acceptable date format.

If you work on the dd/mm/yy format, the same combo’s going to happen almost a month later; the 4th of May, to be precise.

But either way, it’s still worth tracking. Nice one, Steve!

Thinking of it, it wont happen next month b/c then it would be 01:02:03 05/05/06. But it will happen again, just not in our lifetime. The next one would be in 2106.

If you use the European date format, next month there will be a 01:02:03 04/05/06 as 04/05/06 = 4 May 2006.
