Sell? Me?

Find ways and means to get something at lower prices - and sell it to people who value it a lot more.

I had a discussion on this yesterday - in short, the reaction was as in today’s title. Selling? Not me, thanks.

For some reason, sales is seen as a dirty word. Low class, menial, pushy and a con job. Maybe - or maybe not. Leave that aside for now. Whether you realize it or not, you are involved in selling every so often.

Job interview? You’re selling your skills. Liquidating a stock? You’re selling that on the stock market. The list goes on and on.

The point is, any exchange does involve selling. It needn’t be sleazy or pushy. But if you don’t recognise it, or have an aversion to the process, you’re going to lose out.
