Micropayments, anyone?

Found something new today - you do have paypal options for small payments. Normally, paypal charges a fee of 29 cents + a small percentage (1.9% to 2.9%) for business / premier accounts; if you’re transacting in small amounts like a couple of bucks, the fees come to over 15% of your revenue.

Thanks to Steve Garfield and Jesse Cooper, found this alternative on paypal. It’s restricted to within country payments (US to US, or within Great Britain / Australia / European Union), so it isn’t a generic solution.

But the micropayment fees are better - at 5% plus 5 cents, the effective cost for a $2 receipt is at 15 cents instead of 33 / 35 cents.
